Rhonda Monro, CPA
Rhonda Monro, CPA is the managing partner of the Southfield office of Monro & Lennon, P.C. Rhonda graduated from Oak Park High School in 1965 and received her B.S. Degree in Accounting from Wayne State University in 1970. She became a licensed CPA in 1974. Rhonda also took classes in the Master of Science in Taxation program at Walsh College and taught taxation classes for Wayne County Community College. Rhonda has been preparing tax returns since the age of 18 (while still in high school). Rhonda began as a sole proprietor with younger sister Sheryl working as her assistant. Rhonda resides in Beverly Hills with her husband Joe.
Sheryl Lennon, CPA
Sheryl Lennon, CPA has been a resident of Romeo since 1986 and is an active member and past distinctive President of the Romeo Kiwanis Club. In addition to running the Romeo office, Sheryl worked as a Professor for the University of Detroit, teaching accounting principles courses for over 10 years. She began assisting older sister Rhonda with bookkeeping tasks for their parent’s television sales and repair business. Sheryl received her B.S. Degree in Accounting from Wayne State University in 1977, became a licensed CPA in 1980 and received her MBA from the University of Detroit in 1985. She worked in the Private sector for over 7 years and has over 30 years of public accounting experience.
Tracey L Fennell, CPA
Tracey L Fennell CPA became the third partner in the company after many years working for the firm. Tracey received her degree from Walsh College in April 1993 and became a licensed CPA in September 1998. Tracey began as a bookkeeper/receptionist for Monro & Lennon in 1990 while in college. Tracey has worked for both public and private companies to broaden her accounting knowledge over the past 30 years. Tracey is a basketball coach for her local church, loves the outdoors and loves watching her boys play baseball. Tracey resides in St. Clair Shores with her husband and two sons.
